About me

I was born in Virginia, but spent my most of my childhood in Cameroon, Africa.  Growing up in thatched-roof mud-brick homes gave me a deep fascination with how things are made, how they go together, and the journey materials take to become part of our homes.

I chose interior design because of my interest in materials and how our immediate environment affects our day-to-day lives.  I studied interior design at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and have always loved the creative and artistic aspects of interior design.

I began my career working for a full-scale interior design firm based in Blacksburg, Virginia, and after relocating to Seattle, began working for a design-build remodeling company which specializes in kitchen and bath design.  I found the specialty rewarding; being able to customize the most used areas of the homes for each homeowners' unique lifestyle is exciting and every project is different.

When given the opportunity to represent several high-end plumbing lines to the A & D community in the PNW, I saw that my design background and my joy for helping people & teaming up to achieve results on projects that bring pride to the whole team would be a natural next step in my career.

My personal &design philosophy is about individuality and relationships.  Every person is unique, and their spaces are best when designed specifically with them in mind.  Our relationships with each other and the spaces and objects around us influence every part of our lives.  I feel incredibly blessed to be able to guide people through the process of design and the implementation of that design.

In my free time, I enjoy quite time with a book, long runs, and quality time spent with friends, my husband, and my two cats.  I love art, and have worked with a variety of mediums including watercolor, acrylic, oils and colored pencils.  Since moving to Seattle I've fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest, the sultry cloud-cover, the majestic mountains and the gorgeous city lights after dark (or before sunrise, as is often the case when I'mout on an early-morning run).

Testimonials

"Hannah performed as a true professional in all ways.  Her judgement, design skill, trustworthiness, recommendations, and professionalism far exceeded any experience we have had in the past.  Her responsiveness and timeliness kept us well informed throughout all stages of the project.  We always knew where we were with regard to the schedule and the budget and her ability to keep track on many details and respond in a helpful way made this project enjoyable." - Robert & Elaine Hardcastle

"Hannah came up with a beautiful design for our master bathroom that truly feels like a spa experience.  The iterative design process took into account our goals and budget." - Stacey Dell'Osso

"Hannah Tiffany listened to our ideas and 'must haves' and presented options that aligned with and exceeded our imagination.  Her easygoing attitude and skill allowed us to relax and enjoy the entire process." - Carl & Denise Jonasson

Hannah was a huge blessing and relieved a lot of the stress during this process.  She created the perfect layout for our needs and worked really hard at helping us find the right materials that suited our style and the look we wanted.  During the construction phase of the project Hannah was quick at answering her phone or returning phone calls.  When we had any issue she was on top of it before I could even stress over it.  I always got the feeling she cared about making sure we got what we were looking for. My favorite things about artwork: it's a creative outlet that allows me to experiment with color & design elements.  I believe one of the best ways to understand something is to recreate it through drawing, and that's an important aspect of design.
