Important features of the kitchen: rustic cherry cabinets, granite countertops, intricate nickel &hammered copper apron sink, copper island pendants.

Inspired by: stone, wood & wax.  The homeowners' collection of unique stones, fossils, & encaustic paintings informed the material selections.

My favorite details: the pop of red from the tile splash which accents the granite counters, the hexagonal copper pendants that reflect the false ceiling and island, & the picture-frame in the foyer floor where we inset hand-polished stone from the homeowner's collection.

Project goals

The custom cabinet design increased storage space by using 30"-deep base cabinets while also adding counter space. 

Other areas of the home remodeled:  new tile flooring installed in the foyer, new fireplace facade & mantel, the guest &master bathroom.
